Vice President – Global Sales and Marketing
Tessolar has recently launched its first products into rooftop markets in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. We are seeking a seasoned management professional to lead profitable, rapid sales growth for these diverse markets. The successful candidate will have demonstrated successes in business development, sales and marketing with a preferred emphasis on electric power systems and products. This individual must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with an ability to respond quickly to changing requirements and market opportunities. Background in solar energy is highly desired, but not required, however the ability to quickly learn both customer and market requirements is essential.
Responsible for the development and optimization of processes relevant to solar module manufacturing, prototyping new hardware designs, sourcing new materials, evaluation of candidate materials, and design and management of experiments.
Requires a Bachelor or Masters degree in Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or related field, or 4+ years as a development or process engineer. Ability to take initiative and ask questions. Clear and effective communication. Requires keen observational skills, detailed experimental techniques and meticulous documentation and excellent laboratory skills.
